Believe me. I know how you feel. I'm 12 and I get the same lecture about being too young. Even though your 13 you are too young for a lot of things. Maybe not too young for boys but making out, drinking, and partying your way too young. You shouldn't be mad at your parents because they just want to protect you. I know you have heard that a lot before too but it is true. I have a friend that her parents let her do anything she wants and no one wants to be around her because she is just too crazy and stupid. I'm shore you don't want to end up like that. Just wait and your time will come when you can do all of that stuff.

You are too young for all of the things you have listed in your question. You will have years and years to do all of these things when you are older. Your parents are trying to take care of you and protect you and that is their job as a parent.

Don't wish your time away, you will be older before you know it. There was another young lady on here today who was turning eighteen soon, and wanted to stay younger.

All young people go through feeling stifled by their parents when they are around your age, this is a universal occurrence, so you are not alone. Be thankful that you have two parents who love you enough to teach you right from wrong and are stopping you from making a lot of mistakes at a young age.

Not to be a lecturer but girl yes you are too young. I am 13 also.
For one thing you shouldn't be worried about boys now, you are way young to be making out your only in the eighth grade for crying out loud, ABSOLUTELY too young to drink you cannot drink legally until you are 21 and you have 8 more years, partying on the other hand in your definition is probably like hard core college partying which you shouldn't be involved in for your safety, flirting I mean an occasional wink to a cute boy isn't bad but 'touchy feely kind' is a bit more for the older teens and adults, I am not your mother but I think a good age to start dating is when you turn 16. Your not too young for everything. It's perfectly understandable in how you feel. You want to be a older mature woman but you are just a young woman trying to grow up too fast. Your parents want what is best for you and parents are very intelligent. You should listen to them and good things will result.

They aren't meaning to frustrate you. My parents were really strict on me when I was your age but now, looking back I thank them for it. (I'm 23 now, by the way). They just know how easy it is to get in trouble with the law (or MUCH MUCH worse) and they're trying to protect you. It can be really upsetting most of the time but it sounds like they love you and don't want you to get hurt. There are a lot of things I did as a teenager that almost put me in a gutter even with my parents so strict so please just be careful no matter what you do.

to be honest, yes. You are way too young based on this statement "It's pissing me off so bad that I just go do all that stuff just to make them mad."

They know what's best for you. Remember the saying "been there, done that"
