do away with the gasoline clear out fill it up with diesel and refit it.Then tow the bugger approximately 50 meters in first kit and the rotor pump interior the returned of the injection pump will pull the gasoline by because of the fact the pump gallery would be empty by skill of now. consistently replenish the recent clear out with diesel on any engine till now you slot it and you wont have any problems or if its the cannister type the two purchase a priming bulb (10 quid) and slightly pipe to in good shape the outlet pipe on the clear out head and draw gasoline by or as a final hotel slightly pipe and get your gob around it and suck the gasoline by. Then a sturdy hit of scotch to do away with the style. And no its no longer self priming no longer many diesels inclusive of a number of trouble-free rails dont have electric powered pumps and the severe stress pump on a railer won't circulate air purely liquid so which you would be able to wind the bloody issues over invariably and it will merely screw up the pump.maximum present day diesel dont even incorporate a primer interior the device now. yet another subject on some hi circulate diesels with gasoline cooled eu is that the return line has a larger diameter than the feed so whether it has a priming pump you cant pump it rapid adequate by skill of hand to fill the clear out case so which you're able to desire to kink the return line to shrink the return circulate, best it,fire the engine then unkink the return line.Bloody soreness interior the as*sturdy luck

Without owning one, I would expect it to be in front of the timing belt cover"when you face the car from the outside - on the left hand side"
I have Rabbits and had a Jetta and all were the same (Golf is another name for Rabbit(or vice versa) The intake for the air would be behind a headlamp.

If you havent got a "black box" Then you havent got a carburettor version. You must have a injection. It'll be between the injector and the air intake hose.
