Ever heard of post traumatic stress syndrome? Very serious. I have a friend who's daughter was brutally raped. He handled it better than you'd imagine, at that time. Years later, some simplistic issues appeared in his life and he about lost it over it all. Very sad and dangerous. I studied it in school. Sounds a lot like what your friend is experiencing. She needs help...from you, God, and, probably, a trained professional who knows what to do in these situations. I would tell someone...like her family....AND PRAY. That's the best thing you can do. I'll do it too. Good luck.

Sometimes all you can do is let a person work through things on their own. as long as you have let them know you are but a call away if they need you then you have done all you can until they decide its time to talk.

Try talking with her about the good times she had with her dad. Try talking with her about things she could do in life to honor his memory. This should help her remember his life not his death.
