If it were my boyfriend I would tell them of all the dangers of smoking, and how he will always smell bad and that you won't want to snuggle up with him because you don't want to smell like smoke.
If all else fails, tell them that if they don't care enough about you to respect your wishes that you will leave him. :)

Sit him down and talk to him face to face, eye to eye about it. Tell him how you feel about it. If he cares he will definitly think again about it.. I hate smoke.. my dad smokes and now i am gettin the effects of it in sports. tell him you dont want to smell that whenever you give him a hug or taste it when you kiss him.. Hope everything works out

Give him a simple ultimatum.
If he smokes, he will NEVER kiss you again.
That should change his tune. If not, dump his sorry ***. What man would choose cigs over a woman that cares for him? Total loser.

ha, you're both screwed! You can't get him to stop. The drug makes it hard to resist and when he does stop he'll get depressed. He's screwed because he'll breath in the tar and it' will stick to his lungs. Then he'll get lung cancer. Or the smoke will go into his skull and will cause loss of oxygen and he'll have a stroke or a heart attack.

Tell him if he starts smoking that it's over between you two, make him choose cigs or you. Then you'll find out how committed he is to you.

smoking what? Ciggs? try to find as much info on the net about what happens when you smoke ciggs and show it to him, maybe it'll scare him out of it

how old is he? My boyfriend did that and i got really mad at him. I told him if he did it around me we would be over. He stoped for me just to make me happy.

ask him if you can have all his stuff when he dies of cancer.
i used to smoke, and it is very gross. tell him that his skin will get gross, teeth will get yellow, it's not good for his health, and if he does it, then you will leave him.
