I have some Kodo ceramic straighteners. Maximum temperature 230. I prefer these to GHD's, they seem to be more solid whereas GHD's can feel a bit lightweight and tinny.

YES i have great hair straighteners for my thick hair they remmington 230 they go from 130-230 degrees you can get them from the argos catalogue at £45.00 or the babyliss 230 pro they are supossed to be good but i chose the remington because they described them better for my thick hair!

to be honest ghd have brought out their new range but actually lowered the temp by about 30 degrees i think due to heat damage. i hear that a brand named chi are really similar and alot cheaper but havent used them.
