Well if you take them and you wear them and the only thing that you can think about is that you have on "her" earrings then I would not take them. But if you get them and you think yeah I got these earrings and she did not he is my man...then take the earrings.

If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't take them. I mean, sure they are diamonds, but c'mon those were meant to be worn on some other chick's ears. If I realy truly did love him, then I would just say, "I'm sorry, but I don't feel comfortable wearing earrings that meant to be for someone else." If he loves you too, he will surely understand! Good luck!!

If you knew the story behind them before you said you'd love them, then why are you questioning it now? Personally, I wouldn't want a gift that was bought for any ex, but that's me! I'd probably tell him to return them and pick me out something different!

take them in a good spirit but make sure you tell your bf or whatever that 'these aren't coming back to you when we break up'.that should make him think twice whether he really wants to give it to you and if he does then take it. they are 'diamonds' for christ sake !

Take them if that is what your boyfriend wants you to have. Be happy that he wants to give you an expensive gift.

If you like them, want them and are not bothered by their history, say yes and wear them cheerfully!
