There is dragon mythology in many different cultures
Chinese
Celtic
Norse
There are biblical references
Greek
Roman

The oldest culture in the world to utilize dragons in their mythology and beliefs, are the Chinese. For them, the dragon is a divine, mythical creature that brings good fortune, prosperity and bounty.

It is my opinion that the dragon myths started in China and spread westward. I'm willing to bet that the early discovery of dinosaur bones only gave more fuel to the belief of dragons

I often wondered if dragon law started through people in ancient times finding winged dinosaur bones.

What other explanation could they come up with?
