This is a hard question to answer, since you didn't give your area where you live..This would be a big help.

It is a shame that you are married and yu do not know how to give her a real good treat. The movie is never a good idea... Dinner, well, could be romantic depending where you take her. Why not try taking a cruise, say for the weekend... that is if you are the busy type. If not, then go for a weeks vacation just for the two of you. Best of luck.

I can't quite decide, I had 2 best dates! The first one was he took me out for dinner and after that we went for a drive. At each intersection we would play scissors-paper-stone. If I won, we would turn left; If he won, we would turn right. We spent the whole night driving around chatting. It was really cool.
The 2nd date was we went to a flea market, exchanged $20, and gave each other half an hour to find a gift for each other.
So far, the dates that have left an impression on my mind was when my date came on time and brought a gift along (doesn't have to be expensive or extravagant, once a guy gave me only a stalk of flower, but it was my favorite flower. I was impressed he knew).
I hope I helped!

Surprise and suspense are always great. Pick a romantic restaraunt that she would love but has never been to. Arrange to have flowers delivered to your table as well as pre arrange a special dessert to be made by the chef just for the 2 of you(most fine dining places will do so). After dinner if she likes to dance find where to go even if you dont like to dance most women do. End the evening out at a quaint cappicino/wine bar. At home have music, candles , champagne ready and slow dance........

Hey there. The best date I have ever been on was when my ex bf took me to the beach and we had a picnic dinner under the stars then we went swimming. That's the best date that I have ever been on. Good luck with your wife.

I think it depends on what part of the country you are in and what the weather is like. Also what kinds of things does your wife enjoy doing?
How about going to see a special show at a museum and then taking her to a surprise restaurant that you think she will like?
Or going on a walk through a nice park and then having lunch at a cafe?

I remember that me and my husband wanted to go out to dinner but had been to all the local restaurants. Well we got dressed in our evening wear and drove to another town that we hadn't been to before. We parked downtown and just wandered around enjoying the sights and found a quite small but romantic Italian restaurant. It was great because of the change in pace but also it gave us a chance to discover new spots to got.

Well, for my aniversary, my bf took me to a fancy restuant... I know it sounds common but the thing is I always wanted to eat there but I NEVER told him about it! He somehow figured that I wanted to try the food there! And I have NEVER mention it to him.
Do something to show that you understand her and care. Show her you picked out a little detail in her life that she had never told you, and you just knew because you observes her and know what she is thinking. that is special.

Well my bf and I had a date planned, but instead we went to this romantic park and sat on some swings and talked under the stars. It was beautiful.

I guess the best date for me has been going on a long trip just enjoying the view of everything, then camping out somewhere....
