yeah, squats are the best way, like most people mentioned.
but also remember that doing those exercises will form muscle, but the jlo butt, or ghetto booty, like you referred to it, is made up of mostly fat.
so your butt will be more firm, and it wont have that "jiggle" that ghetto booties have.
and try to make sure that your frame will be able to carry a ghetto booty.
if you have small hips, then it probably wont look as good as someone who has larger ones.
picture this, beyonce could pull it off, but imagine Mischa Barton with a ghetto booty!!

Even though this isnt the answer your probably want.
But you cant exactly get muscle or build it up in one spot.
You'd have to work out all of your muscles in your lower body, like quads, calves, etc.
Also if you dont have any booty to start with, you really wont have any to finish with, it will just be more toned.
Think of another thing, most of the time when you see J.Lo, its either in a magazine, on T.V., or on the internet.
All of which can be photoshopped, to enhance her booty.
Not to mention the millions of dollars she has to spend on that perfect butt of hers.
And the fact that her moma probably gave it to her.
((I know because my moma gave it to me too.))
But what you can do, is try wear clothes that make your butt appear more round and larger.
Or do leg lifts, lunges, squats,push ups, also you can put weights on your ankles, and walk around for 30mins to and hour 3 or 4 times a week.
But that also could, make your quads bigger, which can make your butt appear smaller.

Everyone else that answered this question is right... squats will work. But if u want it FAST! nothing works like lots of ballet! Dancing is a great way to get a good butt and legs.

To get a muscluar booty, do alot of eclipital machine workouts on a high altitude. Also, any stretching and toning in that area will help.

well you could always stuff your butt and dont think i'm kidding, i use to go to school with a girl who did that, or you could try some lower body exercises, for examples for the calves that may help the butt as well

have confidence me love , I particularly have an identical situation i'm puertorican and confident the Jlo butt lol you need to be happy with it however i like mine yet i understand pants greater healthful you're backside completely yet are slightly lose on the thighs i positioned on Bebe & guess denims there the terrific particularly there skinny denims they are going to make you're decrease physique seem mind-blowing purchase them. ?

squats, outer thigh and butt exercises..and eat more protein...dancing is good too but if you do not have some bumper cant make magic..lol

try doing squats. just pretend you are sitting on a chair (u noe with ur knees bent) hold it for afew seconds, and repeat.
