jim b knows what he is talking about....use any color with much caution. I too, have seen so-called temporary colors, with teary eyed owners, looking real weird months later. Good luck. :-)

Although most people will tell you to bleach your hair first or even use Loreal products, do they really know what's best for your hair? probably not. First it all depends on how healthy your hair is first before trying any color. the one person telling you to go to Sally's is correct. They have some really great colors. As far as Loreal product goes, it the color may last longer, but it also is a metallic dye. Not good for the hair. If you are a medium brown, using bleach is very harsh on the hair because you will have to leave it on for a long period of time(55 minutes) or even have to do a double process of bleaching since your hair will require at least 5-7 stages of lift. While two of the stages are red and orange. So please take my advice, I am a stylist and been doing it for 11 years. I see a lot of customers screw up their hair because they take advice from others who do not know that much about color. Most of the people who answer are not stylists and did not go to school for hair. Hope my advice helps you.

Try Loreal Color Pulse. It's a 10 washes type of product and it is pretty cheap. It comes in plum (purple), bright red, blue, and i think orange. Go to a beauty products store , like Ulta, they will have every product imaginable.
Good Luck!

There are a line of hair products called manic panic. you can find them at any Sally's salon supply store for about $6.00 . They are non perment and wash out after about ten or so washings depending on your hair. They work on any hair colour but for a real dramtic effect you should bleach your hair, espically if you have darker brown( if your going for blue or vampire red)
They have some great colours with great names. Pinks, florescents, yellow( not blonde..yellow) green, and my favorite..midnight blue.
good luck and have fun!

be careful...especially if you have light hair. no such thing as a non permanent color if the hair is porous enough it will stain no matter what. I have seen so many people use things that are "temporary"that they can never get out.
