what incidents have you heard about where something for kids turned out to have a dodgy origin, element etc.Often by accident and funny.
Ie the Captain Pubwash books and stoires with characters like
Seaman Stains, Roger the Cabinboy, and Master Bates
The Harry potter Nimbus 2000 life size vibrating brooms (yup the designers and suppliers were that stupid they could not see how teenage irls would fund them just a bit too much fun to play with)
Alice in Wonderland ... 10 point for each reference or influence from psycedelic drugs
