As the saying goes, "Marry in haste, repent at your leisure." Marriage doesn't guarantee that you'll always be with someone, or even that you'll always love him. In fact, getting married is a great way to ruin a relationship, particularly if you are very young.

Wow six month huh? yeah those were the days! Why dont you hold out and try to see 3 year together with this man? It might make you feel differently in a good way or not! So here's the thing-not to break your heart- but years with someone is more of true love then months!

ok if you're like 16 years old, then I think you need to grow up more. I've been with my high school sweetheart for almost 3 years now, we're both in college and have no plans of getting married until after. so yes you can marry your high school sweetheart but dont go do it the day you turn 18.

Most people think high school relationships are true love and that they'll last together, but sadly, that's rarely true. Relationships in your middle school and high school are usually just preparing you for relationships you will face in real life, as an adult. And your relationships in this stage normally won't last. People's views on everything change when they get older, and so relationships don't last as well when you marry young. However, there is always a chance, and see where your loves takes you!

I was told this, and tho I didn't believe it at the time, "You will both change a lot in a few years" I left my home town and didn't marry my childhood sweetheart. I was busy with a job, met the man I married and lived a great life for 5 years till my husband died. I recently met my childhood sweetheart...Thank God I didn't marry him. We are so very different. He is nothing like I thought he would be after 7 years. People tried to point out the differences in
us, but I didn't want to believe it, tho in my heart I wasn't ready to
marry him. So ask yourself and then really listen to your heart.

I know exactly where you are coming from! I'm going through the same exact thing with my boyfriend. But you must remeber that marriage is something thats special, and its really serious. Keep dating the guy you are with... but don't make too many vast decisions for the future... cause who knows what can happen in the end?! But make sure you know what you want, and you are happy! You can definetly marry your high school sweetheart!!! I think that is the cutest thing in the world. Good Luck!!!!

You can and I did( married 15 years). but be careful. Here is my advice on this. You both need to go to college and date and maybe even give yourselves the oppertunity to see other people durning this time. It is important so later you don't feel like you missed out on anything. if it is meant to be after this go for it. It can work and it is very special because you have a bond from knowing eachother so well. Good Luck!

it depends on how old are you..
i have been with my sweetheart for 3 years...and we're still together.
I know many couples who are now married, and who know each other since they were 15...
But i guess what you're living isn't true love, but you'll be sure from it when you grow older together...6 months aren't 5 years!!!
So be patient.
Good luck

You can marry him. But you have to be careful with some men they might end up cheating on you. Its your choice though. If you love the guy that bad marry him but if you find out that he's cheated on your after you've been married for so long then you know he's not that amazing like he was 2 yrs ago.
