me and my girlfriend she has a son he is a bit of a hell raiser so we pester him back with holloween mask and some times we sit there and put him on top of the shelfs of the wash room to see his exspessions on his face is that wrong but it tires him out and he ends up taking a nap .fun and games lol

gee your gonna be a great step dad did you get the scarsam in that playing with him will also tire him out grow up and stop it only takes one fall from the high shelves to break a leg and when u get to the hospital you'll be questioned by tons of professional doctors nurses and police and when they find out it was (both )you or her that put him there as a "joke" you'll be arrested for child abuse and just so you know most boys are hell raisers who need ADULTS to guide them not scare the crap out of them your doing damage and giving this kid security issues...

if you treat a child that way you are reinforcing his behavior, if you want the child to act differently then you lead by example and act with him the way you would like him to act.

If he is scared, then its very wrong to do. If he doesn't like it, and you don't NEED to do it, then its wrong to do. The way you describe it, I think you should stop.
