Would you be a little more open to it?

Your thoughts, please.

La Indio...my cats are lesbians. They obviously can't reproduce, but they certainly enjoy each other's company. They don't view it as wrong, either. To them it's completely natural.

Gemini2476....I'm not gay, and I've never been in a homosexual relationship. I'm a mom with kids. I was just wondering is all.

Many of the Biblical directives deal with things that are not good for us for reasons we did not understand and that in some cases we still do not understand.

Ask a urologist what the cause of prostatitis (often incurable) is, and what do you think cause TMJ.

Gossip is a far more devestating sin than sodomy.

It just is not a good idea to think of God's advice as a predjudice. He loves sodomists, and even people who Gossip on ocasion but considering that all His no nos have been shown to do damage now in this world then shoul we not assume that some actions have bad effects spiritually as well. We all are tempted by this or that and people who wish to practice sodomy are no different, they should just refrain from practicing what they are tempted by. I would like to escape and this too is a temptation which stops me from using my gifts so I must continually try not to sucomb to the temptation. I am no better than others. It is that idea we are somehow superior that makes us sinners. PRIDE LEADS TO A FALL. DON'T FORGET THAT.

if we think we know better than God we will find we are in error.

Having read the Bible, I don't agree with the fact it condemns homosexuality. Reading the 6 verses about it, really reading it in context, clearly shows it doesn't condemn it at all.

It's weird, because I see the Bible as a work of fiction. Pure fiction. And yet, I have to defend my homosexual friends against the bigoted part of Christianity that condemns them, based on that same work of fiction.

Well I don't care about what the bible says is right and wrong considering that it was tampered with. My aunt is homosexual and is treated better by her partner than any man she has been with in her life ever. I also learned through her that if you have the capacity to love, you have the capacity to love anyone. So if some holy roller thinks that your wrong for being homosexual then tell them to sit on thier finger and rotate if you know what I mean. They are not judge of your life and God loves everyone and made everyone and that includes homosexuals. God is not the heartless, jerk that most bible toting holy rollers want to make him out to be!

Id definitely be more open to it, because to me, I dont think its all THAT gross, I can think of much worse things. The only thing that makes me opposed to it is because the Bible says it's wrong. But keep in mind, it does not make me hate gays. I am opposed to everything the Bible says is wrong, even the wrong things I do all the time.

If the Bible did not condemn all forms of sin, but allowed even just one, then it wouldn't be the Bible of God, who is Love, Mercy, Justice and Truth. Hopefully, something inside of me would see this, because it still goes against nature and the purpose of marriage.

No I wouldn't condemn it if it wasnt in the bible as wrong.

However, I don't have homosexual feeling or desires so I sure wouldnt have been one either way.

I think it's funny the people who are answering this and immediately have to assert their sexuality: "well, I guess it wouldn't be wrong. .. BUT I'M NOT GAY! I swear!" Do they seem kind of insecure to anyone else?;)

What matters is that the Bible says it is wrong. Your premise is in error because there has to be something greater, something that establishes order and gives direction and life - for us it is God and his Word.

Yes I still would think that it is wrong. Man is/was not meant to be with man or woman to be with woman.
