My husband was a sub contractor for a painting company. This is completly different for me in the tax department. What forms should my husband and I use this tax season. OR is it best to go to a jackson hewitt or HR block? Thank in advance!

I would advise using HR Block either online or in the office. They know what they're doing, especially if you don't! :) Plus they offer audit support, which in any case where you're self employed you're more likely to be audited.

Your husbands Income from subcontracting should be reported on a Schedule C unless you filed the correct filings with your state to be treated as a subchapter C or S Corporation. My guess is you haven't so put it on Schedule C.
