how do i deal with my boyfriend who doesnt listen to me??? he always thinks he is right...even if he offends me hethinks i made him do it...how do i get through hisTHICK HEAD!

The best way to get through to someone like him is not to try. It may not make sense but it is the only effective way of dealing with people who tune us out by doing the same to them. Amazingly, being on the receiving end of our own bad behavior influences us to change more than any other dialogue.

good luck-----maybe u should try a different strategy----he is resisting you because you are pushing him---its like if you physically are being pushed ur natural inclination is to push back--right? or if someone is pulling on you, you're natural inclination is to pull back--right? get the picture? be a little more laid back with him and agree with him more often--not that you really do agree but men like to be right--we like to think the idea our women came up with was ours---its a huge ego thing for us---so be a little smarter-----have fun with it and watch his face when u begin to agree with him......it will take the air right our of his sails.

I agree w/ Amanda there! Talk to him on how it bothers you or better yet give him an ultimatum that if he doesn't stop his crap you will leave him!

do you really like him? because the same thing happened to me, and i dumped him. but if you really like him, just talk to him.
