I guess cause they have nothing else to do but to lay down and not use birth control. Some are stupid enough to think "well if i got pregnant by him he will always be with me" and that right there will not hold any man to you.
Their parents must don't give a **** about what their little kids do.
You would think if someone dosen't even have 75 cents to buy a condom then they would think hmm how will i raise a baby when i don't even have 75 cents.
Another thing is these teenagers can go to the health department and get on birth control for free and their parents wouldn't even know about it if they didn't want them too. I think it is a shame to see a teenage girl pregnant but they think it is oh so cute and great.
That is pretty pathetic to have a kid at age 13 and then when the mom gets to be 25 they will have a 12 year old kid.
I believe alot of people don't have common sense when it comes to sex and pregnancy.

Depends on how young we are talking about here, I was 19 when I got pregnant and delivered my son, and let me tell you I have never been on any kind of assistance, it is not any one else's responsibility to have to help me raise my child. I was happy because I was against abortion and what was I going to do be miserable about my pregnancy, I don't live with my parents, I moved out when I was 4 months pregnant and me and my fiancee' got our own place and might I add we are doing very well, a lot better than most married older couples. We aren't struggling with money, he works full time as a welder and is also a part time welding instructor teaching at a vocational school two nights a week ( by his choice ). I know I was young when I had my son but you know what I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason and although it wasn't the most desirable situation I wouldn't take it back ever. But if you are talking about young young girls like 14 and 15 and such then I would think they would have it A LOT harder because you aren't old enough to drive you really don't have any parental rights to the child ( at least not in PA ) if you live in PA and you are under the age of 18 when you have a baby you have to have a parent or guardian sign for everything for the child, like doctor appointments and what not. You don't gain full rights to the child until you are 18. I don't know how some of the younger girls do it, I mean we did it just fine but I was over 18 and had a liscense and owned my own vehicle and had a job and everything else. Some of these girls aren't even old enough to have a job so I don't know how they are thinking they are able to raise a child without depending on their parents or on government aid. Some people are proud to announce that the government pays for everything for them and and happy about it, now that sickens me, it sickens me when I think about where our tax dollars are going now a days. I don't mind it going to help the people who truly need help but the ones who are doing nothing to better themselves or even attempt to get a job and what not now those people are the ones who shouldn't have children in my opinion. ( note:: i am not saying they shouldn't ever have kids, just not until they can take care of them without needing state help for the rest of their lives) Alright I am done ranting and raving lol

No idea what "broke azz bd" might be, but -- with the rest of the things you mentioned -- short answer:

It seems that if your life is that lousy, any change is a good thing.

"Newborns are honored, because "babies were about hoping and growing, not just surviving. They pulled you into the future, even if you were imprisoned by the failures of the past.""

Because they think babies are cute. And they have no clue what it takes to raise a child. It's the same concept as the gradeschooler asking his mom for a puppy.

because young girls these days think babies are a fashion accessory and would really cute with that certain outfit. and they have all the help in the world these days; parents, government programs, day-cares in the schools.

Maybe because it's one thing in their lives that they actually have control over- whethert to have it or not.

Maybe so they can feel important?
