Does anyone know of a good "accross the counter" teeth whitening system thats not too expensive?

I went to the dentist and he cleaned my teeth with this heavy paste but my teeth still have a brownish tinge to to them.

Does anyone know of something better.

Thanx

After brushing, try useing some peroxide in your mouth for about a minute, this will oxidize the particals in the teeth causeing them to dissipate. As for over the counter, you can you'se i belive its crest dental strips, but be careful because they can make your teeth sensitive, use with caustion.

If you just had them cleaned and have a brownish tinge to them, you may have staining that developed as the teeth were being formed before they erupted. The crest white strips won't remove this staining. Has the dentist ever told you that you have tetracycline stains? These require a much stronger bleaching solution that can't be purchased over the counter, only a dentist can prescribe this, and sometimes it doesn't work. Hate to see you waste money on the strips if they won't work. Ask your dentist first, he'll let you know if your a candidate for them or if you need the stronger bleaching solution. Good luck!

Crest white strips work very well . Or you could do what most people do is go to the shop and look for this special tooth past which is meant to make you teeth go back to white . It really works i tried it . Your teeth will be white in 2 or 3 Months and its not that much more than the normal toothpaste

Crest Whitestrips are great. Once you've used them several times, you can really tell a difference. They are about $25.00 a box...but they are the best option as far as store bought. I read an article about whitening teeth a while back. It said that none of them are a permanent solution. They are a quick fix, but will continue to stay white as long as you use the product. Also...beware of coffee, tea, and cigarettes. They counteract the effects of any. Good luck.

try using bicarbonate of soda on your brush, toothpaste contains this, but by using it pure and on its own you will see the grime easilly come of, use it for a few days and notice the difference, but dont over use as it will damage your teeth, works for me:)
