Bittorrent is filesharing utility that rather than using a central server like gnutella (Limewire) or Kazaa (Fasttrack) it downloads from other people's computers making it hard to control. Information is put on bittorrent sites so that you can download these files from other people.

hmmm... i'll explain in short words.... forget about bit torrent use Utorrent at http://www.utorrent.com , lets say for exaple u have a the movie matrix in ur D drvie on ur hard disk so u will make a torrent its easy in utorrent when u use the torrent wizard option so u wil first browse and find that movie in ur D drice and then where it says enter the tracker url u can find it on the website where u want to post it u have to register on the website to get to post it then when u go to the movie section on the website click on the thread tools and click on start a new thread or post a new thread and then give the title and description and upload the screen shots and the torrent file and also save the torrent in ur myy documents and when ur saving always put ".torrent" at the end of the file like the file name is matrix so u should put .torrent at the end and then save it . same goes even when it is like this matrx.avi so it should be matrix.avi.torrent
I suggest that u should use Utorrent.

My boyfriend downloads torrents all the time.
It's better than using a program such as limewire or something because you can download much bigger files.
For example, instead of downloading one song, you download the entire album.
Plus the government doesn't really pay much attention to torrent sharing.
