you didn't mention if the security light is on. are you having trouble starting the truck?. if so you need to go to the dealer.
they need to scan it for security codes, perform repair and
relearn the vehicle theft detterent.
if by any chance your vehicle has auto start,that will set a security code and the light will come on at times.you need to take it back to the installer and advise them of the issue you're having.

I have a friend too that got a problem with his car security system and the advice that we got from the mechanic is to detach your battery ports to cut off the power to all your system for a while. This way, he said the car computer will reset itself. It worked. If it won't for you go to your dealer they are the only one who has the capability to do so. Good luck!!!

disconnect the negative battery terminal then re-install

only option,take to dealer,they have to hook it up to computer to reset.
