Actually, you should be a senior. For most Juniors in high school, their birthday is after September in 1989 all the way up to August 1990. You were left back?

Most kids are 18 when they graduate high school. Granted you're on the older side...almost 19, but you'll still be 18 like most of your senior class. That means a few months later when you start college, you'll be 19. After that, it really doesn't matter how old you are in college....there are all ages there in all times of their lives. Just enjoy this time and don't worry about stuff like that. Trust me, it's small stuff.

actually i don't think that's weird at all. although i turned 16 when i was a junior, many of my friends were your age or older. you'll be 19 when you attend college if you go to college straight out of high school. and to tell you the truth, in college, NOBODY gives a crap how old you are. you'll be put in classes with 35 year-olds. age doesn't matter, hun. :) you're normal.

There's a spread of ages in all grades. You're probably a bit older than most of your classmates, right? But you aren't enough older to make this abnormal.
You'll probably find in college that some of your classmates are older than you, and that some are younger.
You can calculate how old you'll be in college without any help, I'm sure.

I was seventeen when I was a Junior.
I graduated when I was 18 and a half years old.
But my birthday is in December so I just missed the cutoff.
It sounds to me like you were held back a year.
