a stranger asks for your number on the street(or cafe, shop etc.)?
If you find him/her attractive, would you agree to give your number?
What would be your opinion of this type of people who asks for strangers' numbers? Desperate, weirdo, player?

yes, however weird is not word to describe it..and it totally depends on how "creepy" the guy look or poses his question?
if i find him attractive and friendly..and he got his question posed in the right way, giving the right vibe, i might give him my number. but so far, i met only creepy guys!!! and they seems deseperate.. some just trying their luck and it can be a total turn off.
if the guy's good-looking and he's in a club, i probably think of him as player then.

Depends on what you think the person's motives are, and a lot of the answer to that depends on the feelings you get from the person when the question is asked. Sometimes it's clearly not a good idea, sometimes the person seems so nice and genuinely interested that you let it happen, and sometimes you can't tell or get fooled. You'll get better with more experience at weeding out the weirdos, players and desperados from people you might really want to hear from. Good luck.

Some guy asked for my number in a grocery store once and I thought he was cute so I gave it to him, and it turns out he was a crazy stalker!! He used to sit in front of my work all day!! Use your best judgement, but most of the time these people are freaks

They are promiscuous, and probably are interested in you based on the way you look. Sex must be foremost on thier mind. What else could it be? (They don't even know you.) I would not give them my number. I would tell them that, then ask them if they are free for about an hour, and that there is a cheap motel around the block.

I wouldn't give a stranger on the street my number!!! There are so many sick peoples out there!! Watch out!!!

i'd be flattered you must be well cute if someone walks up to you in the street and asks for your number best thing to do is say i don't know my number off hand but i will take yours and give you a call with mine.

It MIGHT be wierd, yes. It MIGHT be a perv, yes. It MIGHT be a nice guy who found you attractive. Mites belong on a chicken's azz. However, with society being what it is - I MIGHT give him an e-mail address; I MIGHT give him a cell number. NOT on the home phone or office phone number. Definitely NOT NOT NOT on the address.
