Half siblings should have some of the same genetic makeup. A DNA test would prove if they are NOT half siblings and possibly prove if they are.

The answer is yes if the the father of the father is alive or the brother of the father is alive they can do a DNA test on either on to see if the dna matches and if the percentage is more then 80 then he was the deceased if the father.

True story, I have a friend who never felt she and her sibs were cut from the same cloth, they looked different etc., suspected that her mom and the neighbor had a thing, was able to get some DNA in the form of hair off the guys comb and found out she was right, true story!
DNA it's not just for the guys on CSI, if you have anything hair, maybe teeth or a tooth brush, think saliva or blood

Yes because your DNA for the same parent will show up. Each person has half the DNA from each parent and the same parent's DNA would create a match, linking you two to each other.
