I had Flash player, then all of sudden I'd go to a site requiring Flash and it tells me to download latest version. I checked my internet options and they are o.k. and I tried uninstalling old version of Flash Player and said o.k. When going to site I followed direc tions, but it did not load.

Did you use the uninstaller from the Adobe site? I don't think it will work if you just uninstalled it from your add and remove programs list. I had to do this same thing and it worked for me.

I used the uninstaller from their website at

http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157

You should then be able to install Adobe Flash Player 9

I had the same problem until I downloaded & installed "Shockwave
flash player" that is labeled specifially for "Windows".
