How about the Bible got it right 3000 years before science.

"If I had no other data than the early chapters of Genesis, some of the Psalms and other passages of Scripture, I would have arrived at essentially the same picture of the origin of the universe, as is indicated by the scientific data." Nobel Prize-winning physicist Arno Penzias (Big Bang Theorist)

or how about another Novel Prize winners opinion.

"The principle of [divine] purpose ... stares the biologist in the face wherever he looks ... . The probability for such an event as the origin of DNA molecules to have occurred by sheer chance is just too small to be seriously considered ... ."Ernst Boris Chain - Nobel Prize in medicine

Or another
"So many of my colleagues are Christians that I can't walk across my church's fellowship hall without tripping over a dozen physicists." William D. Phillips, awarded the 1997 Nobel Prize in physics.

So if these men that can win the Nobel prize in science think there is a God... the reason you don't is????

Oh a final an opinion from another Nobel prize winner.
"I think only an idiot can be an atheist."
--Christian B. Anfinsen shared the Nobel Prize in chemistry for his work in amino-acid structure and biological activity of the enzyme ribonuclease.

B.A., nothing we say is going to convince you. For whatever reasons, our own personal experiences aren't enough to make people at least admit that God is a possibility. If atheists are as free-thinking as they say,why can't they understand the concept that God is outside the realms of science? That God is unexplainable in terms that we,as humans, can understand?
You seem stable-minded enough to know that none of us has all the answers to the world's greatest enigmas, but those of us who believe in God don't believe because we were brought up that way(though,of course,it is possible that some do just go through the motions) but because we have valid reasons to believe. We are not so "dumb" and naive as to believe just anything. We,too, require proof, and we have received it.
Listen,I'm not saying you should believe in God by blind faith. It is good to have an inquiring mind. I am always looking for answers myself. All I'm saying is that you should be inquisitive enough not to ignore the concept of God completely. As long as you keep your mind totally shut to that possibility, you're not going to receive answers to your questions. You've already shown that the answers we give you aren't adequate. Therefore, you will have to investigate God on your own which is the only way you will know for sure. But,you have to be willing to open yourself up to the possilbility,or your search will be in vain.

Quran is the evidence it is free from contradictions and errors, and anyone who dares give me one error in it.

017.088 Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.

017.089 And We have explained to man, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude: yet the greater part of men refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude!

004.082 Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other than God, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.

018.054 We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things, contentious.

Is it so wrong for some of us to believe in God? Is it hurting you in any way? I don't think so. I choose to believe in God. I don't have to have whatever proof you are looking for. I believe because he has performed miracles for me. I don't have to have a scientist to analyze my miracles for me. One day all of this world is going to come to an end and I will be in heaven rejoicing with all of the christians that have gone before me. It is sad to see that so many people won't be there because they chose to sit around and argue religion instead of believing in a loving and forgiving God. I am so tired of seeing all of the atheist questions like this. When you lift up your eyes in hell maybe then you will believe. I just hope you will change your ways before then.

The guy above me... "atheists want the easy way out."

Yeah! That is why this poster asked all these complicated questions. Because it's so much EASIER to do. Shame on you for your condemnatory attitude. If someone bothers to come on a forum about religion and debate and you call them "lazy" because they disagree with you. All all Christians this judgemental?

I understand I always wanted proof but then I went with my heart and decided that "Christian" was the best way to go because its what felt right to me. Honestly just the feeling of god was enough evidence for me. Unless you experience this for yourself you won't ever truly understand it.

God is the answer and explanation for all that exists, for within God is the power, intelligence and will for all things, without God you have no answer, nothing, and instead end up attributing godlikeness to unworthy objects, albeit in a manner hidden from yourself.
I say evolution is no answer but is a "Miracle" that is never observed or seen, never investigated, and itself unexplained, in need of another explanation resulting in infinite regression.

Asking for an explanation of God is absurd as it is ridiculous, like asking for the answer to the answer that is truly sufficent, unlike "evolution".

God is the only intelligent, rational, reasoned, sufficeint cause of all, without getting into details.

As for miracles I would say again that evolution is inadmissable, being a figment of imagination and wishful thinking, only pushing the question back further, without answering it, to say it just happened is not an answer.

Evolution is a miracle by all counts.

Delusions have nothing to do with the bible or my experinece so you will have to deal with that yourself, amongst evolutionist who believe something without evidence contrary to their own dogmas, because of fanatical unbelief.

The bible is evidence, and it is a very specific kind of evidence that must be evaluated in its own terms not terms set by you or any of its enemies or unbelievers.

Feelings can be evidence depending on what they are based upon.

Faith is not evidence, no one ever said it is, we do not have faith in faith, that is silly, which just reveals your own silliness, because silly ideas and conclusions that are not honest or accurate reveal the inadequate operating of a silly mind.

I believe you sincerely 100 percent and I feel your pain in a way, the way you evidence your sincere struggle and desire to be intellectualy honest with yourself, but I think you are confused on some things that are not easy to understand. It is not your fault either, well not entirely but rather it is the result of falshoods being taught as science and truth. Modern science is not truth. We do not call a TV or the way it was made to work truth.Truth has to do with our human subjective part , almost like a state of soul, character or attitude and this is what the bible is mainly about. It is not about building better TVs or microchips. Jesus said "I am the Way the Truth and the Life".Our major problem today is that we cannot handle our subjectivity and it has been a problem in epistemelogical philosophy for a long time, which has led us to "modern science". You see it was the quest for truth and elimination of subjectivity that led us to defining truth as objectivity and this found in the specific objectivity theoretically captured by the "scientific method". But who decided that this was truth? Was it not the subject? Was it not us? The ones who we said cannot determine truth? We cannot escape our subjectivity, it is our freedom , our temptation, our burden. Instead our character, our tastes, our attitude, our loves, our passions, our fidelity must and will determine it for us. The great bible truth is that God will judge us in our subjectivity!
Yes let me repeat that, God will judge us in our subjectivity! We cannot escape blame or responsibility for truth through subjectivity and therefore throw it all away and say "O' Science
make up my mind for me and decide what is truth for me'. This is what modern man has said and has in this process denied his human responsibility for choice.Crafy thing that he is.
Now when I say God will judge you in subjectivity, what do I mean and what is the import of that? Well it is very illuminating. As I said the human quest for truth has been simultaneously a human hiding from truth, a denial of it resulting in skepticism and then "science", a truth removed from man, the subject. Isn't this a psychological parallel ?
The truth is gently knocking , don't look for it out there but inside your subjectivity, do not trust in man or mans invention, they are real objectively , but not true subjectively, the Christian message or word is true!
That is why you have a problem. Most people who talk about science do not know about its metaphysical foundations in epistemology.
When I say subjectivity I mean your heart, where the bible proclaims its message.. I would also say your are very close to the kingdom of God, friend just stop thinking so much for a while and let it rest, but still be true to your heart that wants to be a Christian.Wait patiently upon the Lord. All the intellectual baloney cannot and will not save you are draw you close to God, but in fact separates. We do not approach God like that, that is not biblical, true faith, blessed faith is simple like a child.
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.
1 Cor3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is the one who catches the wise in their craftiness”;
20 and again, “The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless.”

There is nothing wrong with that. There is no proof of the existence of God. Forget the bible, it is fiction!

In my opinion, God does not care if you believe or not. It is not mandatory. Most souls cross over and religion has nothing to do with it.
