You will need you dog tyo be vacinated.....and it will have to go into quarantine in the UK...Thailand is not rabies-free and thats the cause of the whole damn procedure.
I will do the same if I were you.....not abandoning my best friend.
Hey, just thought of another wild shot....why dont you check the quarantine period in Singapore, I heard thats just one month and since singapore is a rabies-free country, you dog may not even require any quarantine in the UK. Good luck.

You will have to put the dog in quarantine and the whole affair will be very expensive. I would think very seriously about whether this is the best thing for the dog. Is it possible to re-home her? I left (found new homes for) my cats in Cambodia and it broke my heart but they're all doing very well and I believe it was the better choice for them. I didn't have the money and I'm not sure how they'd have coped with the quarantine or life in the UK.

I believe UK has a quarantine to ensure that rabies is never introduced to this island nation.
Quarantine varies in each place. Here it used to be 3 months. Now they cut it down to a few weeks and testing.

Check with your local authorities on this issue. Shipping out of Thailand will not be an issue. Getting him into UK will be the issue.
