You are in the habit of thinking that way....work using the CBT, challenge the negative thoughts and replace them!;

In the vein of CBT... certain beliefs about yourself are governing your thoughts.. you may have a rule for living that says "I can't feel happy because..." tell your therapist about it and try to find out what rules and beliefs cause these feelings and find a way to dislodge them... you're getting the best treatment possible so I have every faith you'll get past this, good luck!

I get that as well, for me its a mixture of worry that I will again lose these feelings and return to the negative feelings, or its the unknown. I have been in this negative world for so long that I have gotten use to it, I hate it but it has become something I wake up with so changing that is a very scary thought.
Another thought would be that we believe we are faking it, that all this time we could have been happy but we chose not to, that of course is not true but our brains are disfunctional... my name says it all.

Why does this occur is a great question, one that you may be able to answer yourself, with this fearless, and searching exercise. Try taking a personal inventory of yourself, write down your resentments( people, places, and things you are pissed at), ask yourself why they made you upset, and what role you played in it. Do the same thing with your fears, and your harms.
when you have thoroghly completed that, share them with someone you trust, that is willing to point out your flaws in a productive matter. the point is to recognize your character defects, so that you can ask God to remove them. Your feelings of guilt, fear, and anger, will soon slip away.

I also get that, often. Like butterflies. I get so bad at times I feel sick. All I know is it's a nervous condition sometimes caused by stress. My family think I'm a drama Queen at times, but it goes deeper than that, I think too much. xxx

i feel for you, it is an awful feeling i know exactly how you feel. try to keep yourself busy during the day thinking of things that need to be done, this is not always the answer though maybe you should buy yourself a book on positive thinging i promise you that these books really work if read them and take their advise. goodluck.

Maybe it's just something like low blood sugar. How's your diet? Do you eat a lot of sugar, bread and fruit? These things cause mood dips and swings.
