This all depends on where you do your gaming at. Say on some large reservation there will be many native faces, or in a small operation. However, there is a common misconception that Indian gaming is making tribes rich when in fact there are only a few casinos that do make enough to make "per capita" payments-money from profits.
When the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act was passed, Congress made sure that the profits made would benifit the tribes by funding services that would help the tribe. There is also was an agency formed to help regulate the industry by providing oversight and regulations to ensure that there was no cheating or outside negative influence aka-dirty congressmen and the mob.
Another thing is that casinos benifit the entire community not just the reservation, but the town or city nearby as well. Indian gaming funds are used to help with social services and many charitable causes as well. I can remember the area where I live 20 years ago before gaming came along and it wasn't something I would ever want to go back to. The jobless rate has gone down, buisnesses are thriving, people have nice things and its FUN to go to the casino.
As far as your question of indian casinos employing indians, well sure. Today I saw indians, white people, some blacks, a Malaysian, old people, and college students. Although it is an indian casino, you don't have to be native to work there, many casinos prefer to hire band members, but its not required.
There are many misconceptions about indian gaming and I suppose just like anything else in this world, there are people who wil trash it. But I believe that Indian gaming is helping tribes in many ways.

Indian casinos do give preference to their tribal members, however some tribes do not have a large population so the available Indain workforce is not there. Some casinos are huge operations that the number of non-Indian employees exceed the Indian employees.
Also many Tribes use their casino profits to improve conditions on their reservations such as building schools, public activity centers, or improve their infrasturcture. Some also use profits to reacquire Tribal lands which were taken away generations ago.

Only a select few tribal members work in plain view of the customers. Those that are behind the scenes are in positions that the tribal counsel has planted them in. These tribal employee's are plain ol' politicians who rip off their own tribesmen and take as much money for themselves as possible. Nobody is told the true workings of the "Government" run casino's under the guise of "Indian Gaming". It all works kinda like the BS lotto scam the "Government" is running on us. Where is the money for Schools from Lotto and Indian gaming? The funds are always misappropriated, and diverted to other causes...like into deep political pockets.

The head guys are Indians, but they hire established companies to run the casinos for them. The rest of the tribe enjoys the profits. I saw one Indian at one casino, he looked like a maintenance man. Remember these places weren't built by the winners.

If you looked behind the doors of management, in most cases you might find that the big casino corporations in Nevada are actually running the places for the Indian Council.

I am 3/4 Native Indian yet if you saw me you'd think I was just a blond and blue eyed white guy. But my facial structure shows I am Indian to anyone who can read it.
Don't mistake a white person for not being Indian. Few traditional dark colored Indians are still around due to cross breading over the generations since the Colony days (1492 region).
Also look up and read about the current chief on the Reservation. He is like a Bush, a crook. They are talking about removing him due to his corruption and not giving money over to the Reservation like its suppose to be.
Don't make fun of items you lack knowledge in....as it robs from your wisdom.
PS - just to live on the Reservation and to be part of it, you must proof your blood line and get a DNA test to prove it as well. Trust me, if they are on the Reservation, they are Indian by at least 50%.
