My best friend has a crush on the girl that I like. Well, "like" is not the correct term. I can't get her out of my head, she makes me feel different than other girls I liked. Anyway, I told my friend that I thought she was cute once and he gave me the silent treatment for 2 weeks. If I were to go out with her he would hate me forever. what should I do?

Anyway, I told my friend that I thought she was cute once and he gave me the silent treatment for 2 weeks. He was turned down three times by her. If I were to go out with her he would hate me forever. what should I do?

Just because you have a crush on the same girl doesn't mean he should be all mad at you. That's not a true friend and if he's not making a move on her than he should have no reason to me mad about it. Listen to your heart and tell this girl your feelings. Your friend will get it over it if he's a true friend to you.

Okay first of all, what does this girl think? Does she like either one of you? That's probably something to consider before you throw a friendship away. Let me ask you this, is this guy one of good friends, someone who's there for you and you can count on to have your back? If not, do what you want to do. But if this friend is a true friend of yours, you have to think what's more valuable. Though one day we all hope to find the perfect person and have a happy and romantic life with them, reality tells us that relationships end all the time. So, why take a chance in ruining a seriously valuable friendship just for a few butterflies in your stomach? There are many amazing women who may be perfect for you out there who don't separate you and your BEST friend, so why are you stuck on this one? If you have any respect and regard for your friend, youll have a talk with him n discuss that maybe neither of you should persue the girl, because your friendship is much more important and will last much longer.

WOW!! you have a dilemma. I'm sorry man, but there is no easy way out of this one. Personally, I would try to be good on both sides of the field. First, explain to your friend that you guys are best buds and nothing will ever change that. Next, I would say go for this girl, because obviously you can't change how you feel. Next, if all goes well with the girl, let your friend know that being with this girl, won't take anything away from your friendship...

Well I know how u feel. And it is a tough situation. But u have to pick, iif i were u,I'd pick the girl, i mean she soundds wonderful. But ur friend is very important to u. What u have to do is let the girl pick and hope for the best. Remember, she needs a say in who she is with also, right? e-mail me if u have any more problems.

Well, ask yourself this is this girl worth losing your best friend over? If she is then your friendship with this guy is basically over then what happens if you date the girl and break up then you lose both of them. However, if your friend is not dating this girl there really shouldn't be a problem with you making a move on her.

First off tell your friend, when no one is around, how you feel about this girl and tell him that you have not done anything so he can't get mad at you for thinking somehting. Then tell him that you want you guys to be friends and you value their friendship. Tell him he shouldn't get mad at you for liking her because you don't get mad at him for liking her too. If you both still really want to go for her, don't. Let her be the one to pick who she likes. That doesn't mean have a competition, it means be yourselves and hang out together and sometimes each of you hang out with her alone. If your friend finds this a non-negotionable subject then you have to deside- is this girl really worth it? and if your friend is being selfish....so is he really your best friend?
hope that helped

well let me ask you this.. do you think he is a true friend? i mean if he was a true friend she would stick by your side and tell you how he feels.. i mean how r u ganna stop talking to your BEST FRIEND... BEST FRIEND means thats your going to be there no matter what!!! you also have to think about what you cherish more.. a friendship or some girl you like... its really all up to you, but if you really think hes your best friend and he will be there no matter what, then i would stick with my friendship, which would be there forever... tell him to quit being dumb an be mad over some girl...

Ask urself first. What is that "like"?Is it true love, or just an intatuation? If its love, then u shud confide to ur friend that u too havfeelings for her.If he is ur true friend, he ud understand. Both of u shud propose her.Lets leave it to her to choose her partner. At least u ud not feel later on that u had left ur love of u hav betrayed ur friend! To live with such a piercing feeling ud b pathetic i tell u!Best of luck!

He will hate you forever. Get him to go out with her. After they split up. Then you can have her. If you're talking school age. They will break up. Just gotta wait.

I would try to move on from her. Obviously, he isn't mature enough to handle the thought. Friends mean more than girls.
