Is there such a thing as magnetic or chalk paint?

You can make the wall magnetic or give it a surface that you can write on it with chalk..does this exist? where can i get it?

The magnet paint is usually sold as a coating that you paint on under the final coat. Chalk board paint is the final coat because it has additives that give it a slightly rough texture. These paints are usually available at any of your local hardware stores.

Yes. Home Depot often has the chalkboard-making paint in their stores. You'll have better luck googling "magnet paint" or "magnetizng paint" for the other. It is sometimes sold pre-mixed and other companies sell it as an additive.

There is..they have one you paint on and one you spray on...Plasti kote.... alot of the home schooler moms use it around here when they make classrooms in their home....I know two ppl really well and they love it.

Definitely there is "chalk paint." Benajmin Moore makes one...

Yep- they have it in a spray can at Wal Mart. It's about $4 a can :-)
