They came from the descended of Ishmael. The core beliefs is the 5 pillars of faith. Make a pilgrimage to Mecca .Fasting .Obligatory (religious) almsgiving .Ritual Prayer .The Testimony of Faith.
They are more of a governmental system then a personal religion. They want to conqueor the world and force everyone to become Muslim. Killing Christians and Jews is considered a form of jihad. They use fear to win converts. They also don't believe Jesus is the son of God, or that he even died on the cross.
Also Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Iran president wants to make war on America & Israel. What's scary is Russia & China seem to be for them. Also China just destroyed a satellite in space, to send a message to America, that they can elminate American power.

Yes Ishamael was chosen to be sacraficed by Prophet Ibrahim(PBUH*). La ilaha illa ALLAH, Muhammedur rasoolu ALLAH.
I testify that there is no God but God(ALLAH) and Muhammed(PBUH*) is the messnger of God. That is the main core of Islam.
