I loved dating! It was so much fun! I miss it... I always made sure we did something really fun like:

Ice skating
rollerblading
putt putt golf
bowling
horseback riding
walk on the beach
kareoke
driving range
batting cages
swimming
take a long drive and have a picnic
check out some local bands

On first dates especially, do something that will allow you do talk, but also have some fun and let him/her see the real you! Avoid the movies at all costs!!! Save that one for at least the third date and be sure to hit the arcade on your way out! Remember, dating when your young is not about finding Mr Right, its about finding Mr Right Now and having FUN!!!

If it's a first date don't go to the movies. You should go somewhere that you can talk and get to know each other better. Bowling is a fun way to have a little healthy competition and have fun. Coffee houses are great for conversations. Dinner. If either of you are outdoors type people you could plan a hike and a pic-nic style lunch.

Movies are never a good idea for a first date rather go for coffee. However- ice skating, bowling, go cart racing, a walk (or picnic) in the park, even paddle boating are fun ways to get to each other in a casual environment

I dont know your age range, but for my first date, we went to an arcade place for teens. It wasn't a Chuck E. Cheese's but there was a pool table, and other games to play. I played some games, but my date was really sweet and played basketball won a stuffed animal for me, then we went to this pizza place and ate. Because I had a curfew, he drove me back to my house and we sat in his car in front of my parents house talking. My dad respected him for bringing me back on time and allowed him to come in and stay longer. We watched a movie and then at school the next day we were an item.

Depends if it's a first! You have the regulars- movie, dinner shopping,... if you want to do something different, there's Horseback riding, skydiving, cycling, hiking, mountain climbing, motorcycling, cook dinner....it really depends on what both of you want to do!

go out to dinner first, go to a movie, you could go to a bar, go play mini- golf, go on a picnic, just think of something you have in common with the person your going with.
