Ugh. not stuff that is so unhealthy!

Try cooking some carrots, letting them cool and the child can eat them without too much chewing trouble. Rolled up lunch meat is good, just check the salt content. crackers, cheese, peanut butter. Cooked peas, corn, rice, greenbeans, brocolli, squash. Fruits are good, but too much can cause diarrhea. Beans are WONDERFUL for toddlers! Try to balance their protein, carbs, and veggies.
'Finger foods' like chicken nuggets and hot dogs are ok in moderation. As long as they are coupled with veggies and other nutritious foods.

You really don't want your child to get into the habit of eating crap. If they do, you can bet childhood obesity will set in. Despite how well YOUR metabolism works. It still isn't healthy. Starting them early and being consistent with healthy foods with start them on good eating habits for the rest of their lives.

Frozen veggies are SUPER convenient

my daughter is almost 13 months old and I feed her anything ( small ) that I eat. I also like the Gerber beef sticks ( like Vienna sausages but healthier) The little entrees are good too... and I buy the Gerber graduate green beans and carrots and fruits. ( they are with baby food) I love them because they are very easy and she can self feed. I also like the animal cookies for snacks for her because they are not bad for them and she loves them. For breakfast I feed her toast, eggs or if in a hurry I just feed her yogurt ( she like the yoplit strawberry..in low fat) for lunch I do the Gerber graduates and then for dinner I feed her what we eat or I get chicken nuggets or something like that and she loves it. They will also eat Ramon noodles... veg all... any thing really.

My son loves anything w/ velveets melted on it. But try this one.
Egg noodles
cream of mushroom soup
a little butter
a little cream or milk
some tiny chicken bites or a can of tuna

cook the noodles/ put in the soup/butter/cream/ and let simmer till all creamy and add your meat or have just the noodles w/out any meat. My son loves it

Also Green bean casserole is good and youcan freeze it.

I melt velveeta on cooked frozen veggies.
you can get cookie cutters and cut out fun shaped fruits.

Just a few things I do!

a lot of fruit Banana, avocado, berries Cheerios are a classic for a reason And make some thing resembling what you consume yet greater baby friendly lead them to little pizzas, the 5 365 days old could in all probability like to help try this. They make those kits the place your toddlers can prepare their very own little pizzas.

Breakfast:
-soft scrambled eggs (top with a little cheese)
-french toast sticks
-mini pancakes
-oatmeal
-dry cereal (cheerios, life, kix)
-yogurt
-waffles

Lunch
-grilled cheese
-hot dogs (cut length wise into sticks and then into pieces)
-lunch meat (turkey, ham, roast beef...we found salami to be too difficult to chew for our girls)
-mac and cheese
-buttered noodles
-pizza

Dinner
-cheese quesadillas
-chicken nuggets
-grilled chicken
-bratwurst
-hamburgers
-meatballs

These are some of the basics that I've been feeding my girls since they were one. I would pair the breakfast items with some fruit and milk and for lunch and dinner I would always include fruits and veggies. I tried to include at least 3 different colors from the rainbow (always something green!) to get them to eat different foods. They are all wonderful eaters now and will try almost anything.

Fruits:
-grapes (cut in half)
-blueberries
-pears
-banannas
-strawberries
-watermelon
-raspberries
-peaches
-cantaloupe
-honeydew

Veggies
-broccoli
-cooked carrots
-baby peas
-cooked green beans
-sweet potatoes (mashed or just cooked and cut into pieces)
-squash (same as sweet potatoes)
-avacado
-bell peppers (cut into sticks that they can dip)
-cucumbers (cut into half circles)

I found that most of the time using frozen veggies and just popping them into the microwave was so easy and they are just as tasty. I also found it very easy to cut up a bunch of veggies that they could eat raw and keep them in the fridge so they could snack on them or I could just toss them onto their plates at meal times. I also tried to have a variety of veggies on their plates to make it more fun. I also tried introducing various dips to make it more interesting to eat the veggies:
-ranch
-hummus
-dill dip
-guacamole

Hope this is helpful :-)

try chicken soup with noodles. my son loved this.
very easy to make. use water, add carrots, celery, onion, chicken piece, salt and boil, once it boils quickly reduce heat and skim off the skum. then just cook slowly for 1 hour. then make noodles.
