I think hair straighteners because its metal and it gets really hot. If you don't want any damage just put a really good moisturizer in your hair such as Profective Hair Growth Lotion before you use anything hot.

I think it would be the hair straightner, since it has to come into direct contact with the hair. The ceramic ones are supposed to be less damaging.

both damage your hair, its the harsh heat.

Use a leave in conditioner if you notice your hair getting dry or brittle.

Also, the metal hair straighteners really burn your hair, use a ceramic one, they are much more gentle-the heat is not as intense.

hair straightener...especially if you have fragile hair like mine. trust me from experience it will break off hair. unless you use a product from texture all you do is squirt some out onto your hands and rub it onto your hair and it wont damage your hair. also if your hair is wet it will make it weaker.
