It resets itself automatically 3 times a day, so resetting it manually does not work. The make is "STAVGER" as far as i can make out. Is anybody else suffering from the same phenomena please?

It could be something to do with british summertime & our clocks going back one hour for winter.

Do you live on the South coast? If so, I presume it could be taking the timing from a continental signal.
See what happens if you set it one hour behind - does it then skip two hours when it resets?
If so, this sounds like the problem.
If of course, your clock time can only be set manually, then it sounds like it's knackered.

Battery Cables seem unfastened! at Battery consistent with danger important Fuse/Relay container next to the battery, Why did it start up after waiting some hours........uncertain!!! replace Cables! is Battery 3 a million/2 to 4 a million/2 Years old or look Swollen on the climate? replace it! verify All floor Wires and Straps, Block to Firewall, Starter to block, Alternator to block, and so on! Coil Wires and Cable! Distributor Cap & Rotor!

Do you have to program your timezone into it? Like Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific? Maybe it's set to the timezone east of you.

Check if you have it set to you time zone. The radio control doesn't know where you are so you have to set your time zone yourself.
