I've been reading the canadian news and the American medical journal and their saying that the age of the man is a factor in how healthy the baby is. For example autistism, higher change the women will have a miscarriage. There are other mental disorders but I can't remember them right now. Even the American sperm bank associate starts to reject men if they are 40 and over.

So do men over the age of 35 have a higher chance of having retarded babies?

All this research is driving me to drink. Why don't we put our tax dollars to better use? Oh well, another question for Yahoo. Anyway, men can father a child as long as they can ejaculate and they have healthily sperm, which is well into their 70's & 80's. I imagine the health of the child would depend on the type of life the man & woman led up until the pregnancy. If they smoked & drank alochol in excess I'm sure it would have a bearing on the health of the child more than just their age.

No, don't believe everything you read. My uncle was 40 before he married and his wife was 38. They had three beautiful children. Two girls and a boy. They where not retarded.
I think the only people that are, are the ones writing the articles.
Hell if we believe everything we read we would all be dead or retarded. Hamburger is suppose to be cancerous. I am still alive and so is 40,000,00 people.
Believe what every you like guess that makes you retarded....

We live ina horrible evil world and eventhose who go to Church every single Sunday are not immune rom this Hell and even those who preach and do right in this world are not free from this evil and diseased world.

Retarted is a Nation that we live in not in a sense of Mental Incapacity, but in a sense that we fail to use our full force in the right direction.
