Isn't it amazing how the catholic church has confused so many by coming up with the trinity ?

The Book of John tells us that Jesus is the Great Creator Being. But again for is the Father is also give creative authority... The Holy Spirit is called God by the Apostles. But the Bible is clear that there is one God.. And Christianity teaches that doctrine. God is Great and powerful manifesting Himself to man in the Being of the three entities of the Trinity. I don't know where you come by your strange beliefs but it sure isn't the Bible... Jim

The trinity is a man made doctrine and is false, Jesus is the son of God and not God, the trinity even quotes that the holy spirit is a god but it isn't, the holy spirit is the force of God and how he gets things done. When they came up with this trinity thing many Christians were killed for not accepting it. the old testament never mentions 3 gods it mentions only one god.

Because God said there are no other gods - also, we believe in only one God - He is made up by three distinct individuals, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit - all three together forming God.

Christians believe in the one true God. Even the commandments acknowledge other beings as in you shall have no other Gods before me.
Christians do not discount the spiritual world, but seek to embrace it through Jesus Christ.
Peace be with you

It probably has to do with that Great Creator saying for thousands of years that He is the only True God and all the rest are false gods.

The Trinity is almost like person. For example, you have a body, soul, and spirit. God is like the soul. Jesus is like God's body in human form. And the Holy Spirit is, of course, the Spirit of God. But they are all One Person. Just like your body, soul, and spirit is all one, and not three separate beings.

God is the Trinity. The father, the son, and the holy spirt. There is not more than one. Thats why they say God the Father, and God the Son.

as a non-denominational Christian, I do not believe in the trinity. Jesus says in the Bible: "....no one comes to the father except through me...(John 14:6)...to me this is proof that Jesus is NOT God but the Son of God The Bible also states: "And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. (Eph 2:22)...to me this is proof God works through His Spirit...and they are not one in the same...And again, Jesus states: "To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. (Rev 3:21)...yet more proof (to me) Jesus is the Son of God...

The trinity is three things in only essence, a multi faceted God.
MODERN EXAMPLE: Our government (US) has three branches. All work together to form the United States government, they cannot act separately without being checked by the other two branches. We do not have three governments, we have one. We do not have three Gods, we have one.
I hoped this increased your understanding.

The Bible says there is one God and many gods. One true god and money who people claim to be god but are not. One God that someday every knee will bow and confess as Lord.
