are you guilty of a neighbor for noing his dog is hungry and cold.?

there are people like that out there its our job as humans to take the time and report that low life and let the animals have there say do you agree or are you ignorant of the needs of animals

I've reported neighbors for not providing shelter, food and water a few times and the Human Society done nothing.I use to make donations to them,but not anymore!!!!!!I'll simply use the $$$$$ I'd give them and provide for a few dogs myself. So I've bought and put down straw for dogs, provided food and water for them for over a year on a daily basis until the people moved. I did end up taking one of their dogs upon their request. I didn't even want or need another dog since I already had three Doberman Pinschers inside the house. Still I felt sorry for it and accepted it. I've had her for about two years now and she gets along fine with my other dogs. Another neighbors dog would get out of her yard and stay on my porch a lot until someone called the dog pound. She is a Husky and wouldn't hurt anyone. I ended up taking the dog warden to the owner so she wouldn't go to the pound. He was ticketed for dog at large. Come to find out she didn't have her license or rabie shots so I gave him the money to get both. I feed her often,still. He asked me to take her, I wish I could,but I have enough dogs now.She is 12 years old with a bad hip and I even give her Deramaxx (pain pills) at times. I didn't think my other dogs would accept her and I didn't want to put her in harms way. The dog I did take in was around one year old at the time and medium size. This makes me absolutely sick when people get these dogs and puts them in the back yard and forgets all about them!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY have them???????????

If you're saying that your neighbor is not taking care of his dog, then you can report it to animal control.

Of course, my neighbors can say that about my dogs, when the truth is that one of them is part husky and wants to spend all her time out in the cold. The other one eats like a pig, but has a high metabolism, so he looks very thin.

Just make sure you know what you're talking about when you call.

You should report them immediately. Would they like to left outside in the elements with no food, etc. People like that do not deserve a special animal friend. Call the authorities right away.

Absolutely report them ASAP...I have even gone as far as feed the animal myself till help comes.Makes you wonder why certain people think they need a pet if they can not commit to that animal forever or the lifetime of the animal.

I did, my neighbor got a new puppy, they had her chained to a stake in the yard, she had a house and food and water but she would get so tangled she couldn't get to it. and would bark non stop!!! I called animal control, I guess they came out, the next day I saw the guy building a pen for her and the barking stopped and I'm sure she's alot happier.

You should report this immediately to the relevant authorities. I have only ever once had to report someone to the RSPCA over here in Australia, as my neighbour was constantly chaining her dog up without shade or water for hours - in summer!!!

please report the to the animal shelter thats why we have places like this to me if you think its cold outside the animals shouldn't be left out side more so if they are not given proper food and water that is abuse and don't feel guilty about how would you feel if something happened to the dog

I would contact the neighbor and inform him/her that you will call animal rescue if they are not cared for better
