How strong of a fan or blower do you think you need to for a hovercraft?

I am building a hovercraft for my science fair project, also if you know any sites to find information, it would be greatly apprechiated, thank you

It depends on the size of your hovercraft. If you've ever tried placing a pingpong ball on top of a blow dryer you'd see that a hovering effect is realized. This is in part due to the mass of the object. The smaller your craft is, the less powerful a blower you'll need.

It depends on the skirt and the weight of your hovercraft obviously
