Jesus's birthday was never recorded. It was made December 25 after 400 years after his birth. Christmas was originally a Roman festival by the name The birth of Undefeated sun or something like that.
Appolo too was born in a cave in mid-winter like Jesus. Another pagan God Mitras too had similarity with Jesus. Sheperds were present when Mitras was born just like Jesus. Before he returned to heaven he ate a passover with his disciples like Jesus. It is believed that Mitras will come to earth in udgement day. The birthday of Mitras was celebrated in December 25 in Rome.

It's a well-known fact that many things about christianity were stolen from Paganism. They did it in order to make it easier for Pagans to convert...but nowadays christians don't want to admit it.

of the earth.in the shade of a sacred tree, with a knife and a torch.He was contacted by a raven from the sun god and told to slay the white bull, when he did that the bull became the moon,then Mithra's got in the sun gods Chariot and flew off.
Not any where near close to the story of Jesus, which is historically recorded.I can not believe these answers, get out your mythology books and look up Miltras.

Before Christ came, the prophecies of His coming were all over the world. The Magi (wise men) were not Jewish and even they knew there was to be someone born this way. The varius mythological accounts that are similar to Jesus are just how the prophecies were being fortold by those who were not Jewish. As we see the stories all stopped developing after the Real Messiah (Jesus) came.

Obvious similarities, which to me only reinforces my belief in Christ because it tells me that people were told of His coming and life long before His birth. They just used a different name.
