It depends on the state regulations. My father had to pay child support to my mother as long as I was in school, that included 4 yrs of college. And after that it stopped.

It depends on your state. In my state the legal age is 18. The non custodial parent continues to pay child support until then, UNLESS the child in question goes to a 4 year college, then the non custodial parent can pay child support up to the age of 21 or 22.

The LAWS are different
some states like CT is 18 and if he goes to collage then you have to pay until he finish I think and why are you so worried about it he is your son you made him your their to help him forever yes your son shouldn't abuse or take advantage but look at it this way his MOTHER is paying where he lives his bills like, light ,water, gas,TV,phone (so he can talk to you) and food so I think that you should enjoy helping the people you ounces loved ( I say this b/c I'm thinking you where together for a while and if it was a one night Stand then you should of use protection)

You usually stop paying child support when your child reaches the age of 18.

The laws vary greatly from country to country, state to state and even province to province.
You will have to give us some more information....or try www.kasamba.com and check out their legal section. Post a question in the public board and be clear where you are and the situation. You'll get an answer that you can use. Doubt if there are any lawyers who will work for free here!

Whenever the judge tells you you can. Most of the time it's 18, but sometimes you have to pay until they finish college, just depends on the agreement papers.
And why are you so keen on not paying child support? You fathered him. Do you think that little pittance you pay really supports everything he needs?

Depends on where you live. In NY, you pay support until the child is out of school. No matter what the age is.
