yes its really damaging to your hair, dries it out, makes it frizzy and brittle.... if you MUST dry your hair all the way, use a cold setting for the drying... and if you can, just dry your hair for like 30 seconds upside down to add volume, and then let the rest air dry...

Yes there is a side of effect of using a hair dryer daily. The most serious side effects of using an hair dryer regularly is hearing loss.

Most people think the condition of their hair will be affected but with all the hair products out there, it is easy to protect the hair.

It is your hearing that suffer the most damage.

Invest in a hair dryer that is as quiet as possible and hold it a good distance from your ears.

Hair conditioners and other styling products are just common sense.

If you use a hand-held hair dryer, use a low heat setting to avoid burns to your scalp which could be a side effect of hair dryer. Use heat protecting styling products.

Yes. Like other heat products, blow dryer's can damage your hair. Although it will not damage it as much as using a straightener, you may want to just let your hair air dry on days when you won't be going out just to keep it healthy. And to tame those annoying little split ends that come up after drying? Just rub a frizz serum on your hair to help hide them.

i blow dry EVERY day but i always use a great moisturizing conditioner in the shower (my fave is Bed Head Moisture Maniac or even Fructise Long and Strong) and then a great leave in conditioner (Bed Hear Ego Boost -- leaves my hair moisturized yet bouncy) and about 4 months ago, i got one of those tourmaline dryers (i got a Revlon one) and it REALLY is gentler on my hair! in fact, i get asked all the time how i keep my long hair so healthy!

Yeah it can dry out your hair and over time this can kill the roots of your hair. Many people ho blow dry their hair for years have really thin hair when they are older, and their hair begins to fall out when they are only in their 30's or forties. I don't think you should do it. Just towel dry it. That won't cause any damage.

It can dry your hair out. You can try an after-conditioner or some oils to help with that. I use Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum. It'll keep your hair soft.

Sure, depending on what type of hair you have also. But if your washing and blow drying every single day without protecting your hair, eventually it is just going to dry out, get frizzy and look and feel bad.
