Hi
Direct its between 10-12 hours going and a little bit shorter coming home due to tail winds.
If you want to travel a little cheaper, you can have a stop off. The best route I've found is via Doha in Qatar. The layover was 1 hour and means little distruption to the trip, gives you a chance to walk around the airport, stretch your legs and go to a grounded toilet! That journey is between 14-15 hours and may save you a 100 pounds to a direct flight. I choose this option and then use an internal flight to travel south, because I have that 100 extra pounds to do so.

Direct flight is about 10-12 hours. With stopovers, expect 14-16 hours.

10-12 hours depending on aircraft. Worth a short stop-over in the Middle East.
Chris recommends Doha. I'm a huge fan of Qatar Airlines. However, Doha airport is still pretty boring (they're working on it). Dubai as a stop-over is better for entertainment/shopping value.

11 and 1/2 hours direct from the UK.
Try to get a night flight, then you can just sleep, when you wake up it'll be early morning there.
