Of course not...that would be bone-headed logic. My father was an atheist and he thought that Jesus was a political and philosophical genius and had great respect for Him.
He was a little dubious of the supernatural aspects of Jesus' life...but he would attend Mass with the rest of the family and show great respect. I never once heard an anti-Christian word come out of his mouth. (He WOULD, however, bad-mouth the Bingo games at the Parish Hall though...he despised gambling...on logical principle rather than on theological principle!))
Heck, I'm a Catholic and I've probably shown more hate toward Jesus (by my sins) than my Dad ever did!

I dont think not being a Christian means you hate Jesus. Thats a little silly. Many religions that arent Christian still have at least some respect for Jesus.
But about gun jumping... who says Christians dont look at history? Its other people who jump the gun in implying we condone bad behavior or that we are responsible for something someone else does.

Jesus is not about hate but love, he was Jewish and reached out to the gentile world. The religious leaders of that time persecuted and martyred early believers.
remember the story of the good samartian? they were a mixed race hated by both and who helped the traveler?
You love people into the kingdom of God!
he healed the blind lame and raised the dead.
Once you meet the real Jesus your life is touched and you are never the same.
Hate only begats hate! God bless

I'm sure there are some Christians who feel that way. So I'd say some Christians are ignorant and uneducated but I'm sure there are some Christians who are intelligent and educated and have studied history and some of the narrowmindness of Christianity. In defense of Christians, like all other religions, they shouldn't be sterotyped and should be seen as individuals with individual beliefs.

Hello my friend !!! I'am a christian woman and I do not care what you are who you are what you believe I'am still going to love you I would still be your friend I shelter you help you with whatever I need to do and most of all I would NEVER judge you for your believes and you know why ? Because god tells me so !!!!!! How can the light of Jesus shine through me if I"am out there judging people for who they are and what they believe? What kind of christian would I be ? Not the one god ask me to be that,s for sure! Yes of course I want people to know about Jesus and get saved but if they do not I still love them , I would be worried for them and they afterlife , but then in the end it would be between them and god not them and me , because who am I correct ? Yes there are a lot of christians who judge people and think they hate Jesus ,wich is so not fair what if those people never heard about Jesus? How can you hate somebody you have never hear about yet ?You know there is a homeless man on my street with a sign saying Jesus loves you and I love you please be mu family. We often stop and talk to him and bring him food ( again thats what Jesus would do ).One of my Churchfriends said to me that man is getting on my nerves with his stupid sign out there every day he is an embarrassment to christains.Let me tell you I rather spend time with this homeless man then sitting next to that person in Church . You can't ever judge a book by his cover Get my point ! One of my dearest friend is moslem another jewish do they hate Jesus ? No! They just don't know him the way I do so why would I ever shut them out and call them jesus Haters? I don't think so ! God is very clear he does not want us christians to ever push his son on people . he gives us the choice , because he loves us so much ! So Christians out there , we are nothing speciall we are saved by grace so grace we should show! We need to look at our Life before we were saved not so pretty was it ? I apologize for those Christians who are like this , but don,t let that keep you from getting to know Jesus.God bless you my friend , Nicole

I have never had a christian say that to me. But it maybe because I believe and accept Jesus, as the Truth, the Way and the Light.

I'm a Christian, and I don't think that people who are not Christians necessarily hate Jesus.
They just don't believe that He is Who He claims to be, or that He can do what He promised to do.
Many non-Christians have great respect and admiration for Jesus.
I'm glad to know you don't hate Jesus....

I've been a Christian for 25 years and have never heard anybody suggest that.
My suspicion is that it's people who don't really know God who make ridiculous statements like that.
It's the same as saying God hates Homosexuals. It's simply not true.

Yes, it does. I do not believe in God. I do believe there was a Jesus. I admire the man and find great value in his teachings. It frustrates me to no end that some "Christians" will not allow you the same freedom of thought they DEMAND from you.

Nope, doesn't bother me in the least.
For it to bother me, I'd have to have an interest in what they think of me, and that would point to a lack of self-esteem. I know who I am and am happy with me.
I don't hate their mythological god-man at all. Ghandi made a good point with his statement, "I like your christ. I do not like your christians. Your christians are so unlike your christ."
I happen to agree, for the most part, they are not like what their christ is portrayed to be at all.
