You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Iraqis don't like us. They don't even like each other. They have no incentive for peace.

The invasion was a complete and total success. What in the world are you talking about?
We moved farther, faster than any military in the history of the world. We deposed a dictator, found him, turned him over to the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED Government of Iraq and they tried and executed him.
Also, I'm not sure you know much about Iraq. This is, by no means, a "developing country". This is a wealthy country. The only problem was the wealth staying in certain Ba'athist circles and most of it was with Saddam.
The only problem in Iraq is that we turned the government over too soon without clearing out the bad guys first. We're dealing with that, now and it's going to be better.

No, its noted as imperialism. the USA can call it what they want, yet once you invade a rustic and attempt to re-formulate their authorities beliefs, that is imperialism. evaluate if China determined that on the grounds that Bush is a conflict criminal, we are able to invade, spread communism, and each and every thing will be ok. Whats the huge difference? And we act like when we turn our heads and wave so long to Iraq, the Islam international of the middle East is merely going to sit there and watch Iraq, a center area contained in the area, attempt to segregate itself from the encompassing countries. we've brought a pair of a lot more advantageous difficulty than we all began with, and for what reason? WMDs? i like how they war and state that we are triumphing the conflict now on the grounds that our surge/s were valuable. in case you outline success as a lot less troops dieing than the month earlier, so help us God.

When a nation is invaded for no legal reason, the defenders dig in and fight more fanatically to drive the invaders out. A Univ. of Maryland poll showed that 71% of Iraqis want the invaders out and 61% felt it was a good thing to kill them. They really are ungrateful wretches. The invaders come in to get rid of a very evil dictator, granted he will be replaced by someone just as bad, The nations infrastructure is destroyed, by latest estimates over 650,000 of it's people are killed, there is no accounting for their ungratefulness. US/UK had put Saddam in power, so why should the people expect anything better.

Because it is not a war that can be won. We are in the middle of a religious civil war. The initial invasion was a complete success, it took less than 10 days to wipe out the regular iraqi army. We are fighting people who wear no uniforms, hide in mosques, hospitals and behind women and children. Also, the media will not allow us to do the job properly, because you see what happens if a civilian, god forbid a child is killed, there is outrage all over the world. I loved working with the british in iraq, they are great people and great soldiers, i am honored to have served with them.

Because thousands of Iraqis are willing to die to drive Anglo American Imperialism out of their country - and those thousands of fedayeen ("commandos") have the support of millions of their fellow Iraqis, while the handfull of collaborators with the US British occupation are looked upon (correctly) as traitors to their country.

undefeatable alliance...surely you jest... if the corruption continues in our governments we are doomed to failure.....bush is too stubborn to meet for negotiations & the UK follows him like a puppy!
Food for thought.....the chinese can now shoot down our satelites which is the basis for all of our security & intelligence...which means if we go to war with china if will be the "old fashion kind" . There are enough people in china (1.2 BILLION, US pop. 300 Million,UK pop. 60 million) that if one died every second they could still last for years....doesn't bode well for us!
