My answer is yes. I buy precooked chicken a lot from grocery stores and fast food places. Leave the chicken in it's container and reheat in the microwave for 45 to 60 seconds. Make sure the container is non-metallic.

My Aunty is employed by the Food Standards Agency UK. She recommends that one should avoid reheating chicken at all costs. The bacteria E. coli is sometimes present in chickens. This is killed once the chicken is first cooked due to the high temperature but E. coli can redevelop once the chicken is cooled. Reheating does not always kill the bacteria (especially microwave cooking). Can cause severe diarrhoea and vomiting. If you should reheat chicken: use it within 12 hours. I'm not a veggie by any means, but please visit the web-sites below to find out more information. The second one advises on food safety. Take care. xx

There are health warnings against doing that, but I have done it many times and not had an upset stomach.

I think it is not recommended because the bacteria in chicken are resistant to very, very high temperatures. if you heat the chicken again you create a good breading environment so the bacteria thrives giving a greater chance of illness to whoever consumes it. Don't quote me on this. And like I say I haven't had trouble with it, but i eat some right grot, so probably have a high tolerance and good immune system.

Pre cooked any meat can be reheated in the microwave. How long is an illogical question unless you first state what meat, how much it weighs and how powerful your microwave is. As a general rule when it is hot it is done.

As long as it was well cooked to begin with yes but only once(that is to say don't reheat the same piece twice) and only for about 18 hours after it was originally cooked would be advisable

You can heat up anything from the frig within 2 minutes.. 5 minutes and it will burn in a microwave, unless its really low wattage type.

I would reheat chicken only once after being cooked but I wouldnt reheat it unless I knew for a fact it had only been cooked and not reheated prior. So unless you have personally bought it raw and cooked it I wouldnt.

Probably five minutes/it also depends on how hot you want it be,if you like it very hot then seven to ten minutes will be fine.Enjoy your reheated chicken

Yes. Since microwaves differ, try 20-second intervals until it's like you want it, and remember what you did for the next time. Best of luck.
