This quote is absolutely true, and I would change it to "reaches the summit", "reaches the mountain first" and "climbs back down."
Unless like the guy above me said, it's a direct quote from someone else for whom English is not their first language.
I run marathons, and while I am never close to the front of the pack, I so appreciate those who are who will come back along the marathon route and encourage the rest of us on to the finish line. They are not just concerned about themselves finishing the race, but about everyone who is running the same path they have trod. I know they are exhausted and just want to take a well deserved rest, but they put aside their personal desires for their fellow man/woman/runner.
Marathons are a great metaphor for life, by the way.

Yes, a lot of truth. What good is it to reach to top of a mountain if your fellow human beings are struggling alone to do the same. We should all "go back" and lend a helping hand, no matter how hard the climb was. The purpose of life is to help each other. It would be a pretty lonely life, at the top alone. A true leader is one who returns to give aid where needed.

Yes of course there is some truth in this quote
You see, a definition of a leader is "a person who rules or guides or inspires others"
And without anyone to guide, the leader would no longer be a leader.
So therefore, if the leader went down to help the other's he would be a leader because he would be literally guiding them to the top of the mountain
Hope this helps

It's okay to be indignant, it is a human emotion - it is a God given emotion as we're made in His photo - it is what we do with our anger that both offers us the victory or no longer -- righteous anger on the matters that make God indignant is a kind of intercession God gets by way of us the frame of Christ. So i do not precisely believe the quote - i consider it is extra the way in which we manage our anger that issues.. God bless : )

''When ever you point a finger there are three pointing back at you''
When you write a quote you have to make sure it makes sence..because yours confused me..but i get it.,..it just took time for me to get it.

That's true, anyone can make an achievement but a true leader helps others to make it as well.

One cannot lead without followers. In this sense, this quote certainly holds true.
