I don't think so as long as you're in shape to complete the race you're good. Most runners though are skinny because they train all the time.

you do not have to be skinny to do anything. I would guess that if you started training for x country racing that you would find that you drop some weight... maybe not become skinny but for sure end up in better health situation.

No but you need to be in really good shape and eat right unless you'll make a fool ofyourself . Plus it would help if your a good runner .

god no!!!!!! You just hav to be fit!!!! training will help your fitness levels!! Skinny people have less reserve for that type of exercise!!! Go Girl!!

you need to be healthy, fit, trained and love running it has nothing to do with size!
