Actually, they are attacking Christians because they think we're evil. So, it's a war against Christianity and Jesus Himself.
Muslims call it a holy war, because they view us as the enemy.
I wonder how anyone can hate another human and how they can be so violent.........I serve a God of love and peace. However, I think it's time for Christians to stand up and fight for what is right, and quit beings pansies not doing anything.
The Word of God says that the "righteous take the kingdom by force". . . . .which we know our weapons of warfare are not of this world, but spiritual.
LET'S GET BUSY CHRISTIANS!

OK, for one you can't successfully make war on a fear, an idea, a condition or an inanimate object. These are things that are said to "rally the troops"
You cannot defeat a terror by killing people, but you can deal with the causes of terror.
You can't defeat drugs by eradicating crops, that just makes the price go up, you need to deal with the reason people do the drugs.
Muslims as a whole do not want to convert our law to Shia law, what most of them do want is for the West to stop trying to rule them as if they were still colonies of "the empire"
We we need to do is defend our freedoms, not impose our way of life on people who don't want it.
I wish everyone who talks so much about how Islam want to take over the world would do is do some research about the middle east and what has been done to it by Europe, Asia and the United States over the centuries.
We didn't like it when Britain tried to rule the Americas, why do we think other people in other lands would like it any better than we did?

As someone else said, Islam has been trying to take over the world for over a thousand years. If you look at the history you'll see that the Crusades was a reaction to stem the ruthless takeover by Muslims hundreds of years ago. They've already taken over most of Africa and a good portion of Europe. Once they get Israel (a tiny island in the middle of half a billion Muslims) and the US, it will be complete. They're very patient.
The religion of Islam specifically says to kill or convert everyone, so naturally they're just following Mohammed's wishes.
I don't like religions that are ruled by laws telling people to kill others who don't believe their religion, but we have freedom of religion here in the US, so we can't stop them from practicing their religion.

Terrorism: The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.
Hm, you mean like what we did in Iraq, Afghanistan, Nicaragua, Vietnam, The Falklands, et al?
This isn't about religion. This is about politics and power.
We don't HAVE the freedoms, liberties and the government we "know and love" that we had prior to this "war".
The founders of this system of government would turn over in their graves if they could see what's been done here in the name of "war".

Unfortunately, the mainstream media has turned America into a paper tiger. Liberals have all the answers but someone else must provide the solutions.
Man in government is too proud to ask wisdom from God.
Thomas Jefferson once said that this great country can only be destroyed from the inside.
Has anyone watched America's foundation steadily crumble from the diet of criticism from the inside?

In past history, war's have always boosted the economy. Great depression? ended by ww2. This time around, though, it's not a war that everyone can get behind, we've had too many odd incidences in the gulf through the 90's for most to actually make a country "war effort" the way things have happened in the past.
I don't know that it's that they don't realized it, I think it's more that they don't see how it affects them.

Unfortunately, our culture has become so Politically Correct that even the President has to pretend that we're not fighting a religion. But if we aren't, if there really were 'good' muslims out there, WHERE ARE THEY??? Why don't they stand up and tell the terrorists that they are wrong, and not following Islam correctly???? You never really hear that, now, do you? Which really says everything we need to know about the 'good' ones, doesn't it?

If someone is attacking us, or we have information that someone is going to attack us, I believe we should defend ourselves. That is not what this war is about though. Sadly it is about, once again, Americans forcing their beliefs onto another culture. Look at how many troops we have worldwide forcing our democracy down peoples throats. I am not against democracy but I am against forcing someone to choose between their government and ours. Saddam should have been ripped from power but that is my personal belief. All we have done is start a civil war.

You are right!
The war on terror is a war against Islam.
Islam has been trying to conquer the world for 1400 years now - to bring it under its tyranny!
We cannot let up on the war against Islam until it is destroyed.
