The only advice that I can give is letting you know how I did. I ate nothing but protein.
Drink tons of water, especially when you are hungry~ it will help curb your appetite.
Eat many different types of protein~
For breakfast make eggs~
For a snack eat fruit~
For lunch chomp on any kind of meat~ roast beef, ham, salami, pastrami...dont make a sandwhich..just chomp on the meat.
For dinner eat some more protein like a hamberger, salad with dressing and fruit....more water etc.
You can eat carbs, but focus on the meat and stay away from carb desserts. Eat all the mean but leave carbs or stay away from them.
Excercise as much as you can...I lost about 20+ lbs.
And I have kept it off since. IF you happen to waffle and cheat...dont over do it! Just make sure you eat healthy the rest of the day or the next day.
Remember, protein , protein, protein...little or no carbs! Tons of water and exercise!

A proper diet is the best way to lose weight naturally and keep it off. You have to eat a varied adequate and balanced diet. Your body needs all kinds of food to function properly including fat in smaller quantities though. Your body needs the nutrients and vitamins in fruits and vegetables the most, that is what you should eat the most of (at least 5 servings a day). You also need protein, and a little fat. Reduce your intake of sweets, fried food and foods that contain a lot of fat. Don't drink too many alcoholic beverages or soft drinks (they have a lot of calories). Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

always to to your doctor first - but here are some diet tips.
drink 8 oz of plain water about 15 minutes before you eat anything and anytime you feel hunger pains or want a snack. the water is good for you and will curb your hunger.
also reduce your calorie intake to 1000 and/or carbs down to 32grams a day.
do it for a week and you will lose at least 5 lbs, probably more. stay focused and exercise

Try running... I am trainig for a marathon and the weight just falls off... I don't know about 20 pounds that is alot to lose in 2 months... you should do it naturally and heathy otherwise the weight will just come back... you know... I hope this is helpful!!!

The Atkins Diet is fantastic. You lose fast if you really stick to it. Just don't stay on it past that. Add some carbs back slowly and you will not gain it back. Try not to eat too many carbs anyway, they tend to sit on your tummy, rear and thighs.

You work out and have a well balanced diet meals every day. Altleast 5 small meals and not 3 big ones.! Trust me. Do yoga and pollities.

keep busy and you will lose 20 pounds why bcuz if your busyor enjoining you forget to eat but eat 3 times a day but eat balance diet like fruit diet ok
